Baseball

The TMMS Diamond Dogs are committed to excellence on and off the field. We understand that as “student-athletes,” academics come first. We compete in the CSRA middle school league. The ultimate goal for the middle school is to prepare our athletes for high school competition, but more importantly, it is to train them to be disciplined, productive citizens for years to come. Baseball is a spring sport at TMMS and each student who wishes to try out for baseball has to meet certain criteria to be eligible. The student must be in good academic standing from the previous semester to be academically eligible. The student must have passed at least five classes. The student must have a good behavior background. The student must not have more that two major referrals. An updated physical and permission to treat must be on file with the athletic department. Prior to May 1st the student must not be older than fourteen in the 6th grade, fifteen in the 7th and sixteen in the 8th.
