NASP - Archery

The Thomson Archery program consists of the Thomson-McDuffie Middle School team and The Thomson High School team. We compete under the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) umbrella and we use their rules. We shoot with the Genesis Original Bow and use Easton 1820 Aluminum arrows. There are two different types of targets that we shoot at, bullseye and 3-D.

 

The TMMS team has been competing since 2014 and the THS team has been competing since 2016. The teams compete in District tournaments from September until the end of February. In March, teams compete in Nationals Qualifiers to see if them are able to compete at Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky.
