Meet Mrs. Hackney

Welcome to 6th Grade!

Hello! My name is Malissa Hackney, and I am excited to be your teacher this year. This is my second year at Thomson McDuffie Middle School, where I teach 6th Grade Social Studies.

I am married to Dante, and we have two American Bulldogs named Rose and Gracie. Some of my favorite things include New England Patriots football, spending time at the beach, and enjoying tacos.

I am looking forward to an incredible school year with all of you!
