Welcome!
Welcome! I'm looking forward to an exciting and productive 2026-2027 school year!
This is my first year teaching at TMMS, but second year teaching in general. I spent many years working in the public library setting as a Reference and Youth Services Librarian. I'm so excited to be in the classroom working with your children this year!
This year, students will build skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and critical thinking through literature, grammar, vocabulary, and writing instruction aligned to the Georgia K–12 ELA Standards. Writing includes argumentative, informative, narrative, poetry, research, and technical writing.
If you have questions or would like to schedule a time to chat, my email is [email protected]. I typically respond during school hours within 1-2 school days. I am typically available during planning, from 11:30 am - 12: 30 pm and after school from 3:30 - 4:00 pm. If you would like the Remind app code, please email me or ask your student to bring the code home for you. Major announcements are made there.
