Meet Mrs. Durbin!

Hello! Welcome to 7th grade Science. I am so excited to be your teacher and to spend the 2024-2025 school year growing together!

 

My name is Sydney Durbin. I am born and raised in North Carolina. I have been married for 14 years. I have three children; one is in middle school and two are in elementary. I have spent several years working in another school system with special needs children. I graduated from Colorado Technical University in February of 2023. I am currently working towards my MAT at Brenau University. My favorite subject in school was science, and I knew early on that I wanted to share my love of science with others. 

 

When I am not in school, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking trips back to North Carolina, cleaning, going to volleyball tournaments with my oldest, spending time with my dogs, and watching football.
